Managing MacOS isn’t much different than any other desktop platform. For Windows environments, Microsoft provides tools for managing Apple devices. There are also built-in security features for managing access. For small businesses, OS X Server is capable of managing all Mac and iOS devices on the network.
Due to built-in security features, Macs tend to be more secure. For instance, malware can’t install itself currently. Plus, the market share is less, which makes them less of a target. This leads to far less time spent on patching, updating antivirus and locking down the system against hackers.
