This role has a small measure of account management responsibility, but your primary focus will be on new client acquisition.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prospect to uncover opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand sales within an assigned territory.
  • Forecast the demand for services within an assigned territory.
  • Track daily sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports on the sales pipeline.
  • Contact existing clients occasionally to maintain account relationships, provide advice on service offerings, and obtain feedback on services.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for issues or activities that the client encounters.
  • Meet monthly productivity goals and provide progress reports as required.
  • Create proposals and other sales material and deliver to prospects.
  • Establish clear expectations between clients and ISOutsource staff.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Rare mix of entrepreneurial spirit tempered by pragmatism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for training in the Seattle area this summer and fall, with permanent location in Portland in late fall, early winter.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Clear understanding of a consultative sales process.
  • Willingness to accept direction and training.
  • Proven track record of measurable success.
  • Well versed in obtaining and conducting appointments with decision makers in small and medium sized businesses.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and credit check.
